It's National Homeowners Month!

June is National Homeowners Month! It is a time where we celebrate homeowners across America and their special achievements in their lives. As a professional organizer, I’ve had the opportunity to access many people’s homes. Being an organizer has been rewarding because I truly believe that it’s so much easier when your space is organized and clutter-free.  Here’s why it matters:

Reason # 1 - You will be more comfortable and happier to have guests over, especially if they were to drop by at the last minute.

Reason #2  - It's so much easier to find things when you don’t have to turn everything else over in a space when searching for something. And, you will not be tempted to rebuy something because you can’t find the original purchase (and will save money). Remember the saying, A place for everything and everything in its place? This famous quote has been attributed to many notable figures from our past: Samuel Smiles, Mrs. Isabella Beeton, and Benjamin Franklin.  (we don’t have to include all of this info if you think best not to)

Reason #3 - If you have a garage, wouldn’t it be nicer to use it for your car rather than a jumble of extra items? According to PR Newswire, almost 1 in 4 Americans say their garage is too cluttered to fit their car.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Homeowners Month! Being a homeowner is not easy but is something you should be proud of. I want to make sure you're optimizing your space.
