The Value of Donating

Donation is a wonderful way to give back to your community and I always encourage my clients to consider it. I recently did a job for a client and we were able to give most of their items to charity. This meant a lot to them. We were also able to donate bags of dog food they couldn’t take with them to their new home across the country. 

If an item is longer of use to you but it is in good condition, consider checking out local charities. I can say as a professional organizer, there are many people who would be happy to receive these things. Another plus is that when you donate, you’re recycling and keeping stuff out of the landfill. This is something to really think about while doing spring cleaning. Before you throw something away, think about someone out there who might benefit from it.
